So you’ve got your accommodation sorted, flights booked, transfers sorted, clothes bought etc etc etc and now you’re looking to see whats what on the island! If you’ve not got your flights sorted check out Opondo using this Opodo Discount Code.
The strip is free! don’t let anyone tell you otherwise and don’t fall into the tourist trap and get conned for 125 euro pp bar crawls either! You’ll get cheaper deals just going to the PRs outside yourself. The strips got music for everyone RNB, urban, 90s, EDM, Bigroom, Techno, House etc. My personal favourites were We Love Ibiza (a 90s club), Joe Spoons(Irish Bar) and The Highlander(Scottish bar) all three are filled with great vibes, great music and decent drink prices!
Don’t buy tickets for club until you’re on the island. You’ll get a better deal going to one of the local ticket sellers – everyone is trying to compete so if you go to Kiosk or something you’ll probably be hooked up with free shots, cheap travel and open bar package or maybe free entry to ocean bean or CuckooLand at Ibiza Rocks Hotel. Just watch out for this though, if you are buying any packages note there is a difference between two hour open bar and two hour pre party. The pre party gets you no free drink. Always double check the deal before you pay and make sure you take a picture of what note is written on your ticket. Don’t get caught out – the ticket sellers have a crazy amount of packages to sell and remember.
Usually you can be as mental as you want if you have tickets. It’s really hard in Ibiza to attract that much attention with an outift – the amount of stags or hens that come and dress up have kind of made everyone used to daft outfits. However none of the VIP lounges allow anyone in with shorts – dress up!
Nobody wants to be their first but everybody should try be there by 03:00 to avoid queues. If you manage to get on guest list there is usually a charge
You’ll hear people say something along the lines of “you need at least a grand a week to survive in Ibiza” and its not true. You can get away with maybe €30-50 a day depending on how you budget of course! If you do go to a club then you’ll spend a bit more obviously. Club tickets range from 40-80 euros. That really isn’t expensive when you think about it anyway! €40-80 euros isn’t as much as the price for a concert back home and I guarantee you will find the clubs in Ibiza are 1000x better! you’re paying 40-80 euros for memories that you won’t forget!
Prices for drink deals on the strip vary too – a place like We love Ibiza will give you a free shot with your first drink and a place like China White will give you packages for big groups. Usually for a group of 6+ €10 each will get you 2 pints of sex on the beach, two shots of your choice each, bottle of vodka and mixers which is decent. You can also buy 3 litres of smirnoff for €40-50 euro at some shops too so you can pre drink and try sneak bottles in if you’re up for it. It’s quite easy to get past security however you do need to watch out for bloody glass collectors! Do bear in mind that even though some places might charge you a standard price for a vodka the measures in ibiza are pretty mental. They’re really generous with their measures. Do not smuggle anything into super clubs – not worth it, if you get caught on the strip theirs 20 other places you can go to.
Find out where the bus station is in San Antonio – If you can see the big Egg you’re pretty close. You’ll get your bus to the clubs from here. Double check where you get your transport from if you get it included in any packages but it will most likely be here too.
